Welcome to Quilts and Things By Rose and Joyce!

We are both working women, mothers and grandmothers. Entering our senior years, we are excited at the prospect of an on line business, young at heart, full of joy and hope.

Our philosophy is that we treat others as we would like to be treated, laugh a little every day, cry if necessary, wipe away the tears, and resume our happy trails.

We each live in a small town. After having lived and worked in large cities we have returned to our ancestral roots in the rural reaches of south-central Tennessee.

The art of quilting was taught to us by our loving mother, Dolly. She created many beautiful quilts which were true works of art and are treasured by all of our family members to this day. Each stitch was sown with love. Having shared her knowledge of quilting with us, we have decided it is time to share our work with you.

Each of our quilts are individually designed. No duplications unless specified. The sizes vary as they are created for adults, teens, children, and infants. The patterns we use and the time we spend together sewing, lend beauty and pleasure to our quilts. We expect that they will be treasured by you, as well.

On each of our pages there is a link to check on the availability of the quilt pictured. If the quilt is available we will send you an email with a link to purchase that particular quilt through PayPal or instructions on how to purchase the quilt with a personal check. We update our website often however, should the quilt shown happen to have already been sold we will send you an email giving you the opportunity to request a quilt with a similar design if the pattern is still available to us. If we can no longer obtain the pattern, we will send you an email stating so.

We do take personal requests.  If you have material that you would like to have quilt made out of just Let Us Know. We would be happy to create something just for you.
